Night-rate charging
Top the battery up on a cheap night-rate tariff overnight, then draw on that stored power during the day instead of buying at peak rates. It works alongside whatever your solar panels are generating, not instead of it.
Backup when the grid drops
A cut in the grid does not have to mean a cut in your house. Depending on the setup we install, a battery can keep key circuits like the fridge, lights and broadband running through a power cut.
Export optimisation
Instead of exporting surplus solar to the grid for a few cent a unit, the battery stores it and lets you use it yourself later in the day. Over a year, that adds up to real money staying in your pocket rather than going out to the grid.

A battery pairs with solar, not instead of it
A battery only has something to store if your panels are making surplus power in the first place. Most of our battery installs go in alongside a solar PV system, either at the same time or added on afterwards. If you have not gone solar yet, that is where the conversation usually starts.

Depending on the setup we install, a battery can keep key circuits running through a power cut. We talk through what that looks like for your home during the assessment, rather than promising whole-house backup as standard.
