Sixteen years installing solar, heat pumps and more for Irish homeowners. Our customers share what the change has meant for their bills and their comfort.

  • Seamless solar install from start to finish. EHP handled everything including the SEAI grant and we were generating power within two days.
    Ciaran M.Letterkenny - Solar PV
  • The heat pump has transformed our home. Running costs down by nearly 40% compared to oil. Team was tidy, professional and on time.
    Aoife D.Buncrana - Heat Pump
  • SEAI grant handled start to finish with no hassle from us. Would not have known where to start without EHP.
    Colm McG.Moville - Solar PV
  • Battery storage means we use almost all our own solar. The app makes it easy to see exactly what we are generating and storing.
    Padraig T.Ballybofey - Battery Storage
  • Tidy team, clear quote with no surprises, and they called back after install to make sure we were happy.
    Marie C.Stranorlar - Solar PV
  • Switched from oil to heat pump and our winter bills halved. EHP sized everything correctly for our older house.
    Patricia K.Dungloe - Heat Pump
  • The MVHR ventilation has made a huge difference. House feels fresh and dry all year, and the heat recovery keeps bills down.
    Sinead O.Carndonagh - Ventilation
  • EV charger installed in half a day. Works perfectly with our solar and the handover was thorough.
    Declan R.Lifford - EV Charger
  • Underfloor heating is so comfortable. The team was respectful of our home and cleaned up every day before leaving.
    Grainne B.Ramelton - Underfloor
  • Clear advice, fair pricing and a system that just works. Three years on and still very happy.
    John L.Killybegs - Solar PV
  • Quick response when we had a query about the heat pump settings. Local engineers who know their product inside out.
    Brian F.Milford - Heat Pump
  • EV charger works seamlessly with the solar panels. Effectively charging for free during summer months.

Step 04

Installation

Our own engineers install and commission your system, with minimal disruption to your day.

Step 05

Switch-on & aftercare

We hand over, show you how it works, monitor performance and look after servicing.

Don't leave grant money behind.

SEAI grants for homes, ACA for business and TAMS for farms. We tell you what you qualify for and take it off the price.

The things people ask us most.

A few of the top questions across solar, heat pumps and grants. You'll find more on our FAQ page.

All FAQs

The cost depends on your roof, your electricity use and whether you add a battery, so we give you a fixed quote after a free survey rather than a rough guess up front. The SEAI solar grant of up to €1,800 comes straight off the price, and we handle the application for you. Most Donegal homes pair solar with a battery to use more of what they generate.

Yes, we handle the full SEAI application for you from first registration to the final claim, at no extra charge. Grants include up to €1,800 for solar panels and up to €6,500 for a heat pump, with a further €4,000 bonus when you replace an old oil, gas or electric heating system and up to €2,000 towards the related heating upgrades. Your home needs to have been built and occupied before 2021 to qualify, and we confirm exactly what you can claim at the survey.

Yes. Solar panels run on daylight rather than direct sunshine, so they still generate on the grey, overcast days Donegal knows well. Output here is only a few percent below the Irish average, and most homes still cover a large share of their daytime electricity. We size every system on your actual roof and usage, so the figures are realistic before you commit.

Air-to-water heat pumps suit most Donegal homes: they use a single outdoor unit, cost less and install in about a week. Geothermal (ground source) systems draw heat from the ground, so they run a little more efficiently but need trenching or boreholes, which means higher cost and more disruption, and they tend to suit homes with land or high heat demand. Both perform best in a well-insulated home, and we advise which fits yours at the survey.

Solar panels are usually a one to two day job, and an air-to-water heat pump is typically around a week, while a ground source system takes longer because of the groundwork. Counting from your first enquiry through the survey, grant approval and switch-on, most projects run over a few weeks. We keep you posted at every step.

Yes. We are not just installers: we look after your system after switch-on with servicing and aftercare, and our own engineers are on hand if you ever have a question about how it is running. Keeping a system serviced protects both its efficiency and any manufacturer warranty.
