Solar power for your farm
Farm sheds are often ideal for solar. We design each system around your roof space and the electricity your farm uses during the day, including milking, refrigeration and cooling.
Why solar works well on farms
Make use of existing roof space
Sheds and outbuildings can provide plenty of room for solar panels, without taking up productive land.
Generate power when you need it
Milking, refrigeration and cooling use electricity throughout the day, when your solar panels are generating power.
One team from start to finish
Our own team designs, installs and maintains your system, so you have one point of contact throughout.
Solar that works for your farm
Make use of shed roofs to cut the cost of daytime electricity.
Put shed roofs to work
Large, unshaded sheds and outbuildings can generate power without taking up a field or grazing land.
Generate power when you use it
Milking, refrigeration and cooling use electricity through the day, when solar panels are generating.

Questions from farms.
Plain answers to what farmers ask us most. If yours is not here, just call or send an enquiry.
In most cases, yes. A site assessment checks the roof's condition, orientation and shading before we design anything.
We size the system to your actual daily electricity use, including milking, refrigeration and cooling, not a generic package.
Yes. Farms can claim a 60% grant on solar under the TAMS Solar Capital Investment Scheme, up to a €90,000 investment ceiling, worth as much as €54,000 back on a qualifying system, with battery storage covered too. We confirm what your holding qualifies for at the free energy audit and handle the paperwork.
